"Project Pillowcase"
My daughters' elementary school collected Superhero Pillow Cases for wounded soldiers in Iraq. The story was picked up by the local news, and the video and transcript from Channel 3 is here.

I didn't see any (it looked like 90% Superman, Batman, or Spider Man), but I assume that female soldiers get wounded, too! I'll have to ask.

Do! I find it so wonderful that a female soldier started it all with her Spider-Man pillowcase. Huzzah for the fangirls!
